WE LOVE BASKETBALL – Today i.e. November 7, 2014 was the opening ceremony of 7th Goenkan Memorial Basketball Tournament. Ms. Rohina Shah opened it by addressing the teams, and all the officials by giving an extremely motivating speech. Then, our Vice Principal, Ms. Swadesh Kumar spoke encouraging and enthusiastic words which set all the teams on go and also she wished luck to both the teams i.e. Home school team and the opponent team. After her speech, there was a motivational song “ROAR by Katy Perry” which was presented by the Western Music Department. (I was a part of it). The song says,” I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter. Dancing through the fire. Cause’ I’m a champion and you’re gonna hear me ROAR.” The song was really cheering and encouraged the teams. Then, our Vice Principal, inaugurated the ceremony and the first match began.
