“The journey of the self, to the self, through the self ”

Yoga is discipline and an art of healthy living. It is a way of life, an integrated system of education for the body, mind and inner spirit. Yoga is something that makes us emotionally, physically and mentally strong.  A yoga presentation was held on 27th November in the assembly by the students of classes IV and V. This celebrated ‘Fitness Day’. All the participants displayed 14 asanas like Vajrasasna, Ustrasana, Chakrasana, Sarvangasana, Halasana, Dhanurasna and Ardh-Matsyndrasana. Practice of these asanas for a few minutes everyday can help cure many diseases and keep you fit. The show was highly appreciated by Principal sir and the students as they found it very informative and inspiring. Sir also encouraged everyone to include yoga in their daily routine as it harmonizes the body, rejuvenates the senses and makes us feel active, energetic and positive.
